CineMiXtura
In an increasingly interconnected world, culture becomes an invaluable bridge between different peoples and regions. It is in this context that Cinemixtura was born, a cultural department dedicated to the production of anthropological films from Spain, with a clear objective: to foster and strengthen the ties between seas and peoples. Anthropological cinema thus becomes the perfect tool to tell these stories, as it goes beyond the simple narration of facts, showcasing the diversity and complexity of the societies that make up these two interconnected worlds.
The project began by combining the seas and oceans of Latin America and Spain (Atlantic/Mediterranean) to capture the essence of both regions, exploring the similarities and differences that characterize them. Through its film productions, this initiative seeks to create an emotional and cultural connection between Latin American and Mediterranean communities, highlighting the richness of their traditions, histories, and shared experiences, and preserving their biocultural diversity united by the Atlantic.
Cinemixtura challenges geographical and cultural barriers through its work, inviting reflection and intercultural dialogue. Its films are not only a window into the realities and traditions of these regions, but also seek to generate an exchange of ideas, experiences, and perspectives among viewers. In short, Cinemixtura is much more than a cultural department. It is a cinematic bridge between two worlds, an invitation to exploration, dialogue, and the celebration of cultural diversity. Thanks to its vision and dedication, this initiative has the potential to generate a lasting impact on the way we understand and relate to each other as human beings.
